ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Scientific Committee of the 21st International Conference on Plastination now invites the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically in English using the 21st International Conference on Plastination website before May 27, 2024.

Please carefully follow the instructions for the abstract layout and submission:
- English is the official meeting language. Therefore, all abstracts must be submitted in English only.
- First, you need to create a user in the online abstract system. Only after creating your account you can submit your abstract.
- Please enter Name, Last Name, Title/Position, Department, Affiliation/Institution, City and Country of all authors. Ensure that all authors' information is included and entered correctly.
- Make sure to select the presenting author and submit presenting author's contact information correctly. All communication regarding the abstracts will be made through the presenting author.
- Select the abstract category amongst the below:
- Plastination Fundamentals
- Plastination and Education
- Plastination and Research
- Select your preferred presentation type amongst the below.
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation With Flash Talk
- Poster Presentation
- No Preference
- Please note that the Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation types according to the scientific program structure.
- On the presentation type section, you should select the checkbox, if you'd like to have your abstract to be assessed for publication in the Journal of Plastination.
- The abstract title must begin with a capital letter and be followed by lower case letters. Use capital and lower-case letters as appropriate for abbreviations in title (e.g.: CSP)
- Abstract body should be submitted as a single paragraph WITHOUT sub-headings, citations or reference list. The text should follow the normal convention of presenting information in an abstract (Background information followed by the methods used, the results and then the implications of the results in the concluding remarks). Your ethics statement should be at the END of the text.
- The maximum length of the abstract body should NOT exceed 350 words.
- You may enter keywords as per your preference.
- You may also upload a pdf or word version of your abstract including images and/or tables. However, please note that the abstract review process will be done through the abstract body submitted through the system without checking the uploaded document. Also, no images and/or tables will be published in the abstract publications.

After submitting your abstract it is not possible to make any edits. If; however, you do not submit but save only, it can be edited and revised online as many times as needed before May 27, 2024.
Presenting authors are required to register for the conference:
No funding is provided for submitters. Abstracts of presenters who have not registered by May 27, 2024 will not be included in the scientific program and will not be published in the Journal of Plastination supplement.
